Principal's Message

Dear Addicott Families,

What an honor it is to welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year as your new principal! I am thrilled to join the Addicott family and cannot wait to meet each and every one of you. With 23 years of experience in education, I have learned that our school's success depends on the strong partnerships we build with our families. I am genuinely excited to work alongside you to make this a wonderful year for our students.

Important Dates to Remember:

·         Class Rosters Posted: August 10, 2026

·         First Day of School: August 17, 2026

·         Back to School Night: August 27, 2026 (3:15 pm – 5:15 pm)

·         Parent-Teacher Conferences: October 26-30, 2026

Please note that class rosters will be available by August 10th. We will not be making room changes prior to September 8th, so please allow time for your child to settle into their new classroom. If you have questions about classroom placements, I encourage you to reach out to us directly.

I look forward to seeing you at Back to School Night on August 27th—it will be a great opportunity to connect and learn more about how we can support your child's learning together. Back to School Night will be held at the end of the school day and will continue until 5:30 pm.

This year the Addicott Daily Schedule* is anticipated to be as follows:

Early Release School Day – Grades PreK/TK/K	9:00 am	1:20 pm

*Small changes in the schedule may need to be made due to adjustments in state required minutes and new transportation

Our district is continuing implementation of an early release schedule on Tuesdays of a five-day school week for teacher professional development. The early release dates for the 2026-2027 school year are:

August 2026: 18, 25	January 2027: 12, 26
September 2026: 1, 15, 22, 29	February 2027: 2, 23
October 2026: 6, 20, 27	March 2027: 2, 16
November 2026: 3, 17	April 2027: 6, 13, 20, 27
December 2026: 1, 8, 15	May 2027: 4, 11, 18, 25
